"Babe I Love You lot" or "Baby I Dear U" (ベイビー・アイラブユー) is a song by Japanese singer TEE. It was released via Universal Sigma on 27 October 2010 and is included on TEE'due south debut album "Kido I Raku". The vocal was written by TEE, Hiro and Ryosuke Imai and was produced by Akira. Australian artist Che'Nelle translated and rewrote the song in English for inclusion on her 3rd studio album "Luv Songs". EMI Music Nihon released the song on 22 June 2011, as the 3rd single taken from her album. Released by TEE, "Baby I Dear You" peaked at number two on the Japan Hot 100 and has been certified triple platinum by RIAJ, selling over 750,000 copies. Che'Nelle'southward "Baby I Love U" peaked at twenty four on the Japan Hot 100 and remained on the chart for twenty iv weeks. The version sold more than 500,000 ringtones, 500,000 PC downloads and 250,000 mobile downloads. RIAJ issued 1 platinum and two double platinum certifications to "Baby I Dearest Y'all", indicating it had sold in excess of over i.25 meg copies by October 2013.

TEE and Che'Nelle too recorded a bilingual version in English and Japanese, which featured on both of their albums and peaked at number twelve on the Japan Hot 100. Che'Nelle collaborated with Shifta and featured the song on their joint mini-anthology "You lot and I". Che'Nelle besides released a karaoke version of the vocal. She then ran a karaoke competition and received a nomination for All-time Karaoke Song at the 2012 Japanese MTV VMAs. The song also gained popularity as a wedding vocal choice.

Production and promotion [edit]

TEE had been studying at a university in Canada when he realised that he wanted to pursue music professionally.[1] After the release of an EP release via producer Yoshiyuki Isao's record label, major recording companies entered into talks with TEE. He was signed to Universal Sigma and began working on his debut album "Kido I Raku". Later on the release of his showtime single in July, they pushed alee with the adjacent release "Baby I Love Yous".[i] The song was written in Japanese by TEE, Hiro and Ryosuke Imai. "Baby I Love You" entered the Japanese Oricon Singles Nautical chart at number twenty ii on eight Nov 2010. Product and promotion [edit]

The vocal was translated and rerecorded in English for Che'Nelle's third studio album "Luv Songs". The vocalizer received a song writing credit for the English lyrics.[ii] It was produced past EIGO and recorded at the Business firm of Che'Nelle studios in North Hollywood, California. It received additional recording and mixing past Shunsuke Shibusawa at Sound Metropolis in Tokyo.[2] The guitar element added to the song was performed by Shinichi Endo.[2] TEE was happy that "such a diva" as Che'Nelle wanted to have the vocal.[21] Che'Nelle liked the song because it is a song "with emotions".
